Hospital Account Manager – Generic Tenders – UK/London office based
Our client commenced direct-to-market operations in the UK in 2013. Since then they have added a range of respiratory products, hospital products and have entered the oncology segment. Today, they deliver high quality products, and with product introductions, they aim to expand their range of branded and generic products in the UK.
They now seek an enthusiastic self-motivated sales professional who will lead Hospital Sales in the UK. The role focuses on driving sales performance, securing market access, and ensuring products are successfully included in NHS tenders.

Key responsibilities include:
- Achieve agreed annual sales target and market share growth within channel
- Support the end-to-end tender process, including pre-tender engagement with procurement teams and coordinating formal bid submissions
- Manage the key stakeholders: wholesalers, medicines procurement team, tendering team, RPPS etc
- Have a clear knowledge of the hospitals landscape outside of their portfolio to identify shortages and potential opportunities
- Ensuring participation in tenders across UK with a view to win the major contracts
- Collaborating with supply chain team to ensure timely supply to avoid FTS penalties
- Manage and prioritize tasks across multiple customer and large geographical base

Candidate profile:
- Successful sales experience the UK pharma industry
- Essential that this includes end to end experience in Generic Hospital Tendering
- Relevant Wholesaler contacts
- Results-focused and resilient
- Great communication skills
- Commercial acumen
- Motivated, passionate, pro-active, having excellent commercial and negotiation skills
