HOSPITAL PORTER
Salary: £12.92 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday various shifts
Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE
Are you a friendly, reliable, and organised individual looking for a rewarding role? Join our portering team to support daily operations at Churchill Hospital.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe movement of patients, equipment, and materials across the site.
Core Responsibilities
- Patient and People Transfer: Safely transfer patients using appropriate equipment and escort patients, visitors, or staff as requested across the hospital site.
- Equipment and Furniture Movement: Move furniture and equipment (including machinery and materials) efficiently within and between different hospital locations.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure the safe and compliant use of all machinery, equipment, and materials, adhering strictly to all requirements.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all Trust policies and procedures at all times, ensuring your work aligns with the organisation's core values.
