Job Opportunity: Environmental Service Technician/Hospital Porter

Are you looking for a job to make healthcare safer? We have a vacancy for a casual hours Environmental Service Technician/Hospital Porter within our Field Services team. Field Services ensure our customers receive a top-level service and ensure we continue to uphold our high standards.

This role will be based in a hospital healthcare environment and have a main focus of moving healthcare waste throughout the hospital.

Location:

North Middlesex Hospital - N18 1QX

Your Role as a Porter will involve:

  • Portering of large 770L and 1100L wheelie bins from waste rooms to place of disposal and back on a daily basis.
  • Cleaning of large wheeled 770L domestic and recycling bins.
  • Supporting the contract on-site where necessary with project-specific duties.
  • Collection and distribution of our own reusable sharps containers on a weekly basis.
  • Supportive in waste segregation, bin bag color coding.
  • Adhere to health and safety processes and procedures.
