Guest Services Porter
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £14,870.70 per annum
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Sunday between 06:30 and 20:30 (rota basis)

We're looking for a Guest Services Porter to join our dedicated team at KIMS Hospital. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll provide a professional, friendly, and efficient portering service, supporting patients, visitors and colleagues while helping to deliver an exceptional patient experience across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients, equipment, stores, specimens, and other essential items safely throughout the hospital.
- Welcome, assist and escort patients and visitors, ensuring they receive a warm and professional service.
- Support patient admissions and discharges, providing guidance and assistance where required.
- Assist with security, car parking and maintaining safe, tidy public areas across the hospital.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and work collaboratively with colleagues to support hospital operations.

Essential Criteria
Who we are looking for
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in a hospital portering or similar customer-facing role.
- Experience working within a healthcare environment.
