The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. Responsibilities
What you will do as a Hospitality Aide
- Answers call lights and relay messages to Charge Nurse/GNA as appropriate
- Returns carts to dietary department at mealtimes
- Fills Water Pitches
- Hands out trays at mealtimes
- Assists with diversional activities
- Cleans diet kitchen including refrigerator
- Straightens utility rooms
- Cleans oxygen concentrators, feeding pumps, IV poles as needed
- Straightens closets, bedside tables as needed
- Moves resident items when room changes are made
- Cleans wheelchairs as needed
- Sets up trays for residents who feed themselves
- Makes resident beds
- Practices infection control and standard precaution techniques as consistent with FutureCare’s policies and procedures
What you will get once you successfully complete the Hospitality Aide training
- Guaranteed entry into one of our accredited training centers in a 4-8 week CNA training program
- On-Site hands-on clinical skills training in your last week of training
- CNA certification upon successful completion of the training
- Ability to take the GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) exam
Qualifications
What you need to qualify for this great career opportunity
- Full-Time work schedule as a new CNA on our 3pm-11pm shift with a shift differential and a pay increase
- Career Growth Ladder available after you’ve obtained your GNA license that will give you an opportunity to advance your career through ongoing training and support to obtain a certification to become as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to comply with assigned schedule and adheres to daily assignment
- Must have a neat appearance in appropriate assigned uniform and identification name tag must be worn at all times
- Ability to interact with nursing staff, residents, and family members in a professional, courteous, and tactful manner
- Must be available to work when scheduled including one weekend day
- Must be able to successfully complete a 90-day probationary period
