A very exciting opportunity has arisen at Stoke City Football Club for a Hospitality and Events Sales Executive to join our team at the bet365 Stadium.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in driving our Hospitality and Events business growth by proactively reaching out to potential customers and securing new business opportunities. In addition, you will focus on the growth and development of relationships with an existing client base to ensure retention, upselling, and maximization of all opportunities through the club’s Commercial portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing relationships and maximizing all sales opportunities, via a consultative approach to sales and account management.
  • Conducting outbound calls and emails to prospects, introducing our products/services, and explaining their benefits.
  • Negotiating terms of sales, agreements, and closing sales with customers.
  • Achieving sales targets and KPIs set by department manager.
  • Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to encourage them to make a purchase.
  • Proactively responding to all inbound enquirers in a timely and professional manner. Converting enquiries into sales by gathering information, discussing packages, emailing quotes, and follow-up calls.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to remain positive in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Previous sales experience is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover match day fixtures and events as required. The position will be offered on a full-time basis. All relevant training will be provided.
