Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting two Hospitality Assistants to join our team working at the High School of Dundee, DD1 1HU.

All roles are subject to safer recruitment checks, including references and a PVG check, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily food preparation for the Mayfield Café and with any basic food preparation
  • Set up for Café Service in line with brand standards.
  • Take orders and prepare customer’s orders, take payments
  • Undertake any other Ad hoc events which may involve setting up function rooms, service and clearing down.
  • Clean back of house areas, wash plates & equipment using chemicals when trained to do so
  • Ensure waste is put correctly in the right bins and emptied as required.
  • Clear away after food services, clean tables and benches.
  • Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, well-presented and flexible
  • Enhanced PVG Check will be required
  • Able to work on a Saturday morning during Hockey & Rugby Season
