Hospitality Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in London, EC4A 3TW.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am until 3:30pm.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

About the Role

As a Hospitality Assistant, you'll be part of a friendly team serving around 300 customers each day in a busy staff restaurant. Supporting both breakfast and lunch services, you'll help deliver fresh, healthy meals prepared daily using high-quality, organic ingredients.

Your duties will include:

  • Serving customers
  • Preparing food and beverages
  • Replenishing counters
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment
  • Assisting with hospitality catering
  • Supporting the kitchen team as required

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a flexible approach, and a genuine passion for great food and service. Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a similar role and environment
  • Highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
  • High standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
  • Excellent customer service and social skills
  • Responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
  • Can-do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 6
  • Customer focused
  • Basic food knowledge
  • Willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
