Job Description:

You will become part of a small team in a stunning, fast-paced, corporate environment. This is an agile and active role. You will take ownership for the hospitality functions within our building. Working with the team to facilitate all beverages and catering orders and looking after the pantry from organisation, orders, cleaning, and deliveries.

The team takes care of the meeting rooms and hospitality experience on the 1st and 8th floor, working with a third-party caterer, who provides fresh food for the meetings and events. We are looking for someone who is excellent in the role, but who also has an ambition to learn the ropes and support the reception team ‘front of house’. Training will be provided to set you up for success.

Core Tasks:

  • Set-up hospitality within the meeting rooms
  • Service of food and/or beverages to our clients within agreed standards
  • Cleaning duties: pantry and meeting rooms
  • Collecting and washing up crockery
  • Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
  • Stock taking (L1 and L8)
  • Helping core reception team with events (opening and closing walls, moving furniture etc.)
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to agreed standards
  • To be warm and engaging with customers and colleagues
  • Comply and assist with our health and safety policies and best practices

Qualifications

  • Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Takes the initiative
  • Excellent time management
  • Supportive / Team player
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Working knowledge of food hygiene
  • COSHH knowledge desirable but not essential
