We’re looking for a warm, friendly and enthusiastic Hospitality Assistant to join our team at Elmbridge Village in Cranleigh.
This is a flexible bank role, working on a zero-hours basis to provide cover for sickness and holidays. You’ll play an important part in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our residents, their guests and visitors.
From serving food and drinks to providing a friendly welcome and supporting the day-to-day running of our hospitality spaces, you’ll help ensure we continue to deliver an excellent experience across the village.

What you'll be doing
- Providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to residents, visitors and guests
- Delivering excellent food and beverage service in line with our standards
- Helping to maintain clean, safe and welcoming hospitality areas
- Supporting with food, drink and retail service as required
- Building positive relationships with residents and getting to know their individual preferences
- Responding to enquiries and resolving issues professionally, escalating where appropriate
- Working closely with colleagues across the village to deliver a consistently high standard of service
- Sharing ideas to help improve our menus, service and resident experience
- Keeping your knowledge and skills up to date and embracing opportunities to learn and develop

What we're looking for
- A friendly and positive approach, with a genuine passion for great customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and building strong relationships
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- A willingness to learn, adapt and get involved
- Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage or a customer-facing role would be helpful, but is not essential
