Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional weekends)
Hours: Shift patterns between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm (with occasional later finishes for events)
We're a multi-award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day, across sites nationwide. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant/Front of House member to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and friendly Hospitality Assistant / Front-of-House Team Member to join us at BM Caterers. In this role, you will be the face of our service, delivering exceptional customer care across our vibrant workplace restaurants, premium coffee bars, and corporate hospitality zones. Whether you are welcoming guests, serving fresh artisan food, or helping set up for evening hospitality, your passion for service will help create an uplifting experience for our clients every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down meeting/conference rooms, including catering arrangements
- Prepare and restock kitchens, pantries, and meeting rooms with coffee, snacks, and supplies
- Coordinate catering orders and deliveries for meetings and events
- Provide fine dining service for lunch and dinner, including table setup, formal service, and clearing once meals have finished
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, lounges, and meeting spaces throughout the day
- Support internal events such as town halls, celebrations, and client visits
- Clean as you go throughout each shift, following daily and weekly cleaning schedules to keep all equipment and surfaces hygienic and presentable
- Follow procedures and always display good practice, with discretion and politeness essential
- Basic computer skills (email, booking systems)
- Ability to lift/move deliveries, light furniture, and equipment
- Maintain inventory and track usage of hospitality supplies
- Carry out other ad hoc job-related tasks as required; flexibility is essential, as duties may vary day to day

- Experience: Some previous experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and approach matter most — full training will be provided
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shift patterns between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, including occasional later finishes for events
- Attributes: A positive, team-player attitude with excellent communication skills and a passion for great hospitality
