The Role

The Hospitality Sales Executive will play a key role in driving seasonal and match-by-match hospitality and experience sales, proactively developing new business while building strong relationships with existing clients.

Based at a leading professional football club in the West Midlands, this is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in premium sports hospitality as the Club returns to the Premier League after 25 years.

Reporting directly to the Head of Hospitality, the successful candidate will be ambitious, energetic and commercially driven, with a passion for creating exceptional experiences for supporters and corporate guests.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious salesperson looking to develop within a high-performing team and build a career in the premium sports and entertainment industry.

The Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve and exceed hospitality and experiences sales targets.
  • Proactively sell seasonal memberships, matchday hospitality and premium experiences across the Club's portfolio.
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and local market engagement.
  • Convert inbound and outbound sales opportunities into long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Club's hospitality products, pricing and availability.

Pipeline & Account Management

  • Manage a personal sales pipeline to deliver agreed revenue targets.
  • Accurately maintain customer records, opportunities and sales activity within the CRM system.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention and revenue growth.
  • Support sales campaigns, forecasting and hospitality renewals.
  • Develop existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Client Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitality members, clients and prospects.
  • Engage with customers through meetings, calls, digital communication, networking events and matchday interaction.
  • Represent the Club at relevant business and networking events to generate new opportunities and strengthen relationships.

Matchday Hospitality

  • Actively support the delivery of an exceptional hospitality experience on matchdays.
  • Build relationships with guests and identify opportunities to drive future business and customer retention.
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for the Club, ensuring high standards of customer service at all times.

What we're looking for

  • Commercially driven, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in sales, business development, account management or hospitality-related roles.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Confident generating new business and building lasting client relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, with experience managing pipelines and CRM systems.
  • Professional, proactive and collaborative, with a positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Adaptable and flexible, including availability to work matchdays, evenings and weekends as required.
