Hospitality Inventory Manager

The role…

The Hospitality Inventory Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation and accurate set-up of hospitality inventory across LW Theatres’ six all-year-round theatre houses and destination venues. The role ensures hospitality packages are created, maintained and allocated correctly through LineUp, including item bundles, Food & Beverage, in-seat and upsell hospitality packages, and ‘At The Lane’ products such as pre-show dining. The role is focused on maximising sales, occupancy and revenue opportunities through proactive monitoring, accurate inventory management and responsive use of data, while supporting the department to protect operating net profit.

What you’ll be doing…

As the Hospitality Inventory Manager you will…

Inventory and Commercial Management:

  • Build and maintain hospitality inventory in LineUp, ensuring relevant packages and products are set up accurately for productions, concerts, events and destination venue activity.
  • Ensure package elements are accurately attached to the correct seating bands, reflecting the value of each hospitality offer and maintaining accuracy within LineUp.
  • Working with the Data Department and the Commercial Analyst use occupancy trackers, sales reports, Tableau dashboards and other tools to monitor performance, identify sales opportunities and optimise inventory across performances.
  • Work closely with Ticketing to monitor price table changes, seating plan updates and shifts in customer demand, ensuring hospitality inventory remains accurate and commercially effective.
  • Actively review and reallocate seating inventory to maximise occupancy and revenue, while supporting the department’s operating net profit objectives.
  • Support the creation and refinement of hospitality packages for new and existing productions, concerts and events, feeding insights and recommendations to the team and line manager.
  • Collaborate with the Hospitality team, Ticketing team and relevant stakeholders on dynamic pricing opportunities, using sales patterns and pricing insight to inform timely recommendations and practical actions.
  • Remain alert to changing sales trends and market demand, balancing proactive planning with the ability to respond quickly to opportunities or risks in inventory performance.

Stakeholder and Venue Coordination:

  • Work closely with the Groups department, Box office’s/Ticketing team to support hospitality group bookings, ensuring efficient coordination, accurate set-up and profitable package sales.
  • Maintain and coordinate Gold Club members, company partners and key stakeholder bookings, ensuring hospitality and seating requirements are managed effectively.

General:

  • Provide support at large company events where hospitality leads or contributes to coordination, including press nights, gala shows, VIP events and other key activity, dealing with related tasks in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
  • Support the accurate preparation, maintenance and communication of the hospitality weekly planning tool used to capture key event, booking and operational information, ensuring relevant updates are accurate and shared with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain good working relations and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Technology, Data, Operations, Partnerships, venue management and box offices, destination venues, Groups, Ticketing and Finance where relevant.
  • Demonstrate willingness, patience and resilience to evolve with LineUp, learning new processes and supporting continued improvement in how the platform is used.

What we need…

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong working knowledge of the LineUp ticketing system, with the patience and resilience to adapt as the platform evolves.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve occupancy and support revenue growth.
  • Confident analytical skills, with the ability to use data, trackers and reporting tools to inform practical decisions and recommendations.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and diligence in checking work, particularly when managing inventory, pricing and package set-up.
  • Experience working in ticketing, hospitality, live entertainment or events.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate requirements, respond quickly to changing sales patterns and take ownership of tasks through to completion.
  • Keen interest in the live entertainment and hospitality sectors.
