Pay: £42,367 per annum
Shift: 9am to 5pm

About the Role
We are seeking an Experienced Hospitality Manager to join our luxury Care Home Mantles Court based in Biggleswade. The 75-bed Care Home combines a well-connected, family-friendly location with thoughtfully designed homes offering spacious open-plan living, contemporary finishes and private gardens.
As a Hospitality Manager, you will be the welcoming face of our Home, providing a professional and friendly service to residents, visitors, colleagues and Relatives.
What You’ll Bring
- NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Hospitality Management
- NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a care, residential, hotel or hospitality environment
- Experience managing teams, including training and setting service standards
- Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills and conflict resolution skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for high-quality service delivery

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Team Management:
- Overseeing housekeeping, catering, activities, front of house (reception team) and maintenance staff.
- Rotas
- Training and development
- Supervision/performance management
- Event planning and execution
- Documentations
Quality Standards:
- Maintaining high cleaning standard, ensuring quality dining experiences, activities, safety and room upkeep meet luxury and company brand standards while maintaining CQC (Care Quality Commission) compliance.
Resident Experience:
- Acting as the primary liaison for residents and their families to ensure preferences are accommodated.
Budget & Administration:
- Managing departmental budgets, stock take & inventory
Auditing:
- Ensuring that staff carry out their duties appropriately, whilst promoting a positive and supportive working environment for all.
- Complete periodic audits, provide feedbacks, recommendations, and timelines for improvements.
Meeting:
- Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the team.
Standard:
- Ensuring that dining rooms are presented to the highest standard and the service provided is to a five-star standard whilst working closely with the chef and care team to achieve this.
