What you'll be serving up…

As a Hospitality Manager, you will lead the delivery of a best-in-class hospitality experience across premium matchday hospitality, conferences, private events and non-matchday business at Saracens Rugby. Working closely with the Site Director of Food & Beverage, Head Chef and client stakeholders, you will lead front-of-house operations, develop exceptional service standards and build a high-performing directly employed casual workforce.

  • Leading and developing hospitality teams across lounges, suites, restaurants, bars and guest-facing areas
  • Creating a positive, high-performance culture focused on outstanding guest service, teamwork and colleague engagement
  • Recruiting, training and retaining a skilled casual workforce while reducing reliance on agency labour
  • Developing workforce plans, talent pipelines and succession plans to support operational requirements
  • Managing onboarding, induction and training programmes to ensure colleagues are confident, capable and deployment-ready
  • Delivering pre-event planning, rota management, role allocation and service briefings for all fixtures and events
  • Leading from the floor during service, supporting teams, engaging with guests and resolving issues quickly and professionally
  • Working closely with culinary, retail, sales, events, security and logistics teams to deliver seamless event experiences
  • Monitoring guest feedback, service standards and operational performance to continuously improve the customer journey
  • Managing labour productivity, payroll, revenue, stock, wastage and service-quality targets
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, allergen management, licensing, cash-control and health & safety requirements
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while reporting on workforce performance, training and operational improvements

The ingredients you'll bring...

  • Significant hospitality management experience within stadiums, events, hotels, conferences, contract catering or premium hospitality environments
  • Proven experience recruiting, developing and retaining large casual workforces
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Experience designing and delivering induction, service and leadership training programmes
  • Excellent workforce planning, rota management and labour productivity experience
  • A strong customer focus with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance service excellence, labour efficiency and operational performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to remain organised, visible and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, allergen management, licensing and health & safety requirements
  • Relevant hospitality or management qualification, or equivalent senior-level experience
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and major event schedules as required
