Hook Norton Brewery Visitor Centre is a food production and hospitality destination based on Brewery Lane in Hook Norton, near Banbury, United Kingdom. Role Description

The Hospitality Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at the Hook Norton Brewery Visitor Centre in Banbury. This role includes:

  • Supporting food and beverage service, such as taking orders, serving food and drinks
  • Maintaining cleanliness in guest areas
  • Ensuring a high standard of presentation
  • Assisting with customer check-in for tours or events
  • Managing basic point-of-sale transactions
  • Responding to visitor feedback or concerns in a professional manner

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction with guests and effective coordination with team members.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on creating positive visitor experiences and resolving inquiries or issues calmly.
  • Experience or interest in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, including handling orders and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Background or training in Hospitality, ideally within visitor centers, restaurants, cafes, or similar customer-facing environments.
  • Ability to work on-site in Banbury on a full-time schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for extended periods.
  • Basic numeracy and point-of-sale skills for handling payments and receipts.
  • Knowledge of or interest in breweries, food production, or tourism is beneficial, as is prior experience in the hospitality or food and beverage sector.
