We're looking for an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join the opening team at Yarrow, our brand new restaurant in the heart of Tunbridge Wells.

Yarrow is a fresh dining destination, open to both the public and our retirement village residents, serving exceptional food and warm, professional hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the guest experience from day one, leading by example and supporting the team to deliver outstanding service every shift.

Unlike many hospitality venues, Yarrow offers a better work-life balance, with more sociable opening hours while still providing a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the restaurant
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome
  • Coaching and motivating the front of house team to maintain consistently high standards
  • Supporting with team training, development and performance
  • Assisting with rotas, stock control and ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Handling customer feedback professionally and resolving any issues with confidence
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, licensing and health & safety procedures
  • Working closely with the management and kitchen teams to deliver an outstanding dining experience

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or team leader role
  • A passion for exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
  • A confident leader who enjoys motivating and developing others
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm in a busy environment
  • A hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a rota that includes some evenings and weekends
