Our London portfolio includes 5 Hertford Street, Oswald’s, and Birley Bakery and Chocolate Shop in Chelsea. In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime’s, alongside a new Birley Bakery in New York City.
We are currently seeking a Host to join our Upper Floor Restaurant team at 5 Hertford Street.

Working Hours:
- Shifts are between Monday - Saturday
- Shift times vary on a rota basis and can fall between 11:00am and 1:00am.
- The club is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover role.
What you will do:
- Deliver a warm and professional welcome, creating an exceptional experience for members and guests from arrival through to departure.
- Manage restaurant reservations efficiently, maximising covers and supporting revenue targets.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations on menus and service styles.
- Maintain detailed guest profiles and preferences, ensuring a personalised and seamless dining experience.

What are we looking for?
- Experience of working in a similar fast paced role in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member’s club advantageous
- Organised, professional with excellent people skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of SevenRooms system is beneficial
