Host & Catering Assistant
Spire Clare Park Hospital | Farnham | Full Time | Permanent | Weekend Shifts
Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Host & Catering Assistant to join our Catering team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a rewarding, patient-facing role where you'll play an important part in delivering an exceptional experience for patients, visitors and colleagues. From serving meals and refreshments to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, you'll help create a welcoming environment that supports outstanding patient care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serving meals, snacks and refreshments to patients with care and professionalism
- Taking meal orders and supporting individual dietary requirements
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and infection prevention
- Supporting stock control and replenishment activities
- Working closely with Catering, Facilities and Clinical teams
- Delivering a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and colleagues

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, healthcare or a customer service environment is desirable
- A friendly, approachable and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of food hygiene and safe working practices
