Host Concierge at The Hippodrome Casino
The Hippodrome Casino is London’s most iconic entertainment and gaming destination, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional service, and world-class hospitality. We are committed to creating memorable experiences for every guest, every time and as our new Host Concierge you will provide that ever important warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position has become available to provide cover during a period of maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, offering a friendly and professional welcome.
- Provide information about the Hippodrome Casino and its facilities, events, and promotions.
- Provide tours of the Hippodrome to guests, providing detailed information about the rich history of the building.
- Handle guest enquiries, reservations, and special requests efficiently.
- Liaise with gaming, hospitality, and security teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised service.
- Cloakroom Responsibilities - managing the three cloakrooms, including checking in and out coats, bags, umbrellas, and other guest belongings.
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Assisting customers through various communication platforms.
- Creating and processing membership registrations.
- Supporting sales in the merchandise shop.
- Managing lost property and other related responsibilities outlined in the job description.
- Handling multiple tasks efficiently and managing challenging situations in a professional manner.

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or concierge role, ideally within hospitality or luxury environments. At least one year’s experience would be an advantage.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills.
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern that includes nights and weekends.
- You must be over 18 years of age.
