Commis Waiter – Coreus by Clare Smyth (Pre-Opening Team) – Waldorf Astoria London (Admiralty Arch)
About the Role
Join Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, Hilton’s flagship luxury brand, as they open their most anticipated new property later this year. We are seeking an experienced Commissaire Waiter to join the pre-opening team for Coreus by Clare Smyth, helping create a legendary guest experience from day one.
Located at The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace, this iconic hotel will feature:
- 100 luxurious rooms and suites
- 17,500 sqft of private residences
- Two Michelin-starred restaurants: Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud
- A world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities
- Grand event spaces, including a ballroom for 320 guests
Responsibilities
As part of the pre-opening team, you will:
- Assist in the setup, management, and running of Coreus by Clare Smyth during the inaugural phase
- Provide royal-level service standards, aligning with Waldorf Astoria’s globally renowned luxury experience
- Collaborate with the foundation team to refine food and beverage operations, guest interactions, and service excellence
- Uphold five-star service expectations, recognised by Forbes and Michelin-starred chefs
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the exclusive guest experience right from opening day

Requirements
Expertise & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, specifically in high-end fine-dining establishments
- Familiarity with Michelin-starred restaurant environments is highly advantageous
- Strong background in wine/beverage service, floor coverage, and managing upscale guest interactions
- Commitment to pre-opening engagement, with availability to help build standards before the hotel’s launch
