THE TEAM

At The Chancery Rosewood, our Food & Beverage team creates warm, elegant and effortlessly assured dining experiences. Working across our outlets and in close coordination with the wider service team, you will help ensure that every guest journey flows seamlessly from arrival to departure.

YOUR ROLE

As a Host, you will be the first impression of the dining experience at The Chancery Rosewood. You will combine genuine personal warmth with strong operational awareness, managing reservations, coordinating seating and creating a welcome that makes every guest feel expected, recognised and valued.

Working closely with the restaurant, kitchen and wider service teams, you will set the tone for the guest journey and bring Relationship Hospitality to life from the first interaction to the final farewell.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Welcome every guest with warmth, poise and genuine personal interest, creating an individual and memorable arrival experience.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements accurately, balancing guest comfort, dining flow and the effective use of tables.
  • Build meaningful guest recognition by remembering returning guests, VIPs and their preferences.
  • Capture and communicate dietary requirements, celebrations, accessibility needs and personal preferences clearly and discreetly.
  • Coordinate closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams, providing timely updates on arrivals, table readiness and reservation changes.
  • Manage wait times, walk-ins, overbookings and guest concerns with transparency, empathy and composure, finding solutions that protect the guest experience.
