With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.

About the Role

As a Host, you will be the first and last impression of our dining experience: the warm welcome that sets the tone for an unforgettable visit and the gracious farewell that leaves a lasting memory. This role is about far more than managing reservations and seating guests. It is about delivering Relationship Hospitality by creating meaningful connections, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every individual feels recognised, valued, and genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations and table allocations with precision, ensuring a seamless guest journey while balancing operational flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Build meaningful relationships with guests by recognising returning visitors, remembering preferences, and ensuring each guest feels valued and personally welcomed.
  • Work closely with restaurant and kitchen teams to coordinate guest arrivals, table readiness, and service requirements, ensuring a smooth and well-organised operation throughout service.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to enquiries, special requests, celebrations, accessibility requirements, and dietary considerations, ensuring personalised and attentive service at every stage of the experience.
  • Maintain a welcoming and elegant reception area, ensuring guests are always acknowledged, comfortable, and informed throughout their visit.
  • Handle wait times, reservation changes, walk-ins, and guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and composure, always seeking positive solutions that protect the guest experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of our dining experiences, menus, events, and hotel offerings, confidently sharing information to enhance the guest experience and encourage future visits.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and service excellence, ensuring every interaction reflects the luxury experience and values of Rosewood.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
