Salary: £12.96 per hour
As a host you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences for every member and prospect by delivering exceptional customer service and leading dynamic, informative club tours.
You’ll play a key part in shaping the atmosphere of the club—keeping member areas clean, welcoming, and energising—while actively supporting a safe environment by spotting, reporting, and escalating any improvements to the clubs. You are a multi-tasker, handling various situations at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to members and potential prospects in line with brand values.
- Deliver exceptional club tours to potential prospects, based on their needs, providing up to date information about the various products available and following up where appropriate.
- Ensure top level member experience through maintaining the cleanliness of member areas, gym floor (regular walk arounds, clearing up weights etc) and vending machines.
- Stocking towel area, vending and protein shake machine.
- Proactively reporting maintenance or facilities improvements.
- Ensure any health and safety risks are minimised upon discovery/reporting and follow correct procedures to rectify escalating where required.
- Ensure members and prospects details are correctly updated within relevant systems.
- Safely and securely open the club and close the club following specified checklists.
- Support with marketing campaigns, and member administration (Service Calls, member support, payment & Debt support).
- This list is not exhaustive; you will be required from time to time to complete extra tasks within your skillset to support business need.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrable ability to deliver excellent member service
- Demonstrable commercial mindset and customer orientated
- Background in commercial economics, sports education, hospitality or similar relevance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Stress resilience, ability to handle different situations at once, prioritising skills.
- Ability to use initiative and work as a team
- Availability for the minimum of 16 hours a week, for minimum a year.
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly for business needs, hours can range across weekends and evenings
- Ability to work across multiple clubs
- Ability to uphold the UGG Values of We Do, We Care, We Energise and We Challenge
- Experience in the hospitality industry and/or fitness industry (desirable)
- Demonstrable commercial mindset
- Interest in the fitness industry
