Host/Hostess
For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are looking for an exceptional Host/Hostess to create a warm and memorable welcome for every guest. As one of the first points of contact in our restaurant and bar, you will set the tone for the guest experience, ensuring every arrival feels personal, effortless, and welcoming.
Join one of the first 75 team members and play a defining role in launching a new luxury destination in Mayfair. From day one, you will help shape the culture, service standards, and guest experience that set the hotel apart.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional, and personalized welcome, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, special requests, and guest preferences accurately and efficiently.
- Manage table allocations and guest flow to support a smooth and seamless service.
- Recognize returning guests and VIPs, communicating individual preferences and special requirements to the team.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the restaurant, menus, special events, and hotel facilities to confidently assist guests.
- Work closely with the restaurant and reservations teams to ensure a memorable luxury guest experience.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and presentable reception and entrance area while consistently reflecting the luxury service standards of the Colbert Collection.

How can you succeed in this role
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within luxury hospitality or fine dining.
- Passion for hospitality and creating personalized and memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, confident, and professional approach.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with restaurant reservation systems and luxury service standards would be an advantage.
