About The Role

The role of Host here at Northumberland College Zoo is a vital role engaging with our customers day today. you are the first people guests get to interact with and ensure they have a fantastic value family day out. you will be approachable and engaging while having an eye for detail to makes ure each and every experience is outstanding.

Role Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent customer service at our admissions kiosk and food kiosk
  • Ensuring the zoo looks at its best day to day keeping this tidy and clean
  • Managing and delivering school group visits
  • Engaging with guests through various activities including talks, experiences and group bookings

Qualifications

  • Minimum level 2 Animal Care qualification

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Customer service experience in a retail or tourist attraction setting
  • Experience of working with various groups of people including young and SEN learners

Desirable Skills & Experience – (Optional)

  • Delivering and planning educational sessions
