Host Relationship Manager

Location: Cheltenham or London

Your Role

The Host Relationship Manager plays a key role in developing and maintaining effective relationships with host organisations, ensuring a high-quality experience for both hosts and students across programme delivery.

Acting as the primary point of contact for host organisations, the role focuses on relationship management, engagement, and coordination of host activity, ensuring hosts are supported to maximise their involvement and benefit from the programme.

Success in the role is measured through engagement KPIs, including host participation, satisfaction, and contribution to student outcomes. The role requires a balance of relationship management, operational delivery, and adherence to client requirements, processes, and timelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with host organisations and key stakeholders.
  • Support host engagement across placements, internships, and industry-led activities.
  • Manage programme activities to ensure delivery against agreed timelines and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, engagement data, and programme outcomes.
  • Help deliver high-quality experiences that enhance student development and employability.
  • Coordinate events, guest speakers, and industry engagement opportunities.
  • Monitor participation, identify potential risks, and support effective resolutions.
  • Deliver against KPIs, SLAs, and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to programme improvements, scaling initiatives, and new ways of working.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure successful delivery while demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and excellent organisational skills.

What You Bring

  • Experience in relationship management, account management, customer success, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting partnerships.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence working within defined processes, frameworks, and service standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records and data.
  • Ability to analyse information and contribute to performance reporting.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience within education, training, employability, placements, or employer engagement environments (desirable).
  • Experience supporting events, industry engagement activities, or partnership programmes (desirable).
