About the Role
As a Buyer Account Manager, you will play a key role in developing and delivering recruitment strategies that connect qualified buyers with world-class events. Working collaboratively across teams, you will use relationship-building, data analysis, and business development techniques to grow and engage buyer communities while ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the event lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver detailed research and recruitment plans aligned to Buyer Programme recruitment strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, event professionals, and industry partners through telephone, email, meetings, and events
- Develop and implement comprehensive Buyer Strategy plans in collaboration with internal teams
- Identify and establish key industry partnerships to support buyer recruitment and programme growth
- Support Marketing, Project Delivery, and Content teams to deliver seamless client programmes
- Manage administrative and event-related activities including reimbursements, reporting, recruitment trackers, registrations, and system testing
- Maintain accurate buyer databases and recruitment records using EventsAir and other systems
- Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management reports while using data-driven approaches to identify, recruit, and qualify buyers

Requirements
- Outstanding commercial awareness, confidence, drive, and initiative
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities with a customer-oriented approach
- Experience achieving metrics, targets, and delivering results
- Proactive approach to sourcing prospects and registrations
- Excellent database, IT, Excel, Smartsheet, and data analysis skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the Luxury Travel and Meetings, Events and Incentive Industry is beneficial
