Head Hostess

Luxury Restaurant | Central London
£50,000–£60,000 per annum

An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced Head Hostess to join one of London’s most stylish and high-profile luxury restaurants. Located in the heart of Central London, this sophisticated destination combines high-end dining, an energetic atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality, attracting an international clientele and offering a polished yet vibrant guest experience.

We are looking for a confident and charismatic hospitality professional who understands that the guest experience begins from the moment they arrive.

The Role

As Head Hostess, you will take ownership of the restaurant’s reception and reservations operation, ensuring a seamless and highly personalised experience for every guest.

You will:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the reception and host team
  • Oversee the guest journey from arrival through to departure
  • Manage reservations, table allocations, and seating plans effectively
  • Handle VIP guests and special requests with confidence and discretion
  • Build strong relationships with regular and high-profile clientele
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Management team to maximize covers and ensure smooth service
  • Maintain exceptional presentation and hospitality standards at all times
  • Handle guest enquiries and challenging situations professionally
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of the host team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Head Hostess, Head Receptionist, or Reception Manager within a luxury or high-end restaurant
  • Has experience working within a busy, high-volume premium dining environment
  • Is warm, polished, and naturally confident with guests
  • Has excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Is comfortable managing VIP and international clientele
  • Has strong reservations and table-management experience
  • Can lead a team while remaining hands-on during service
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality
