We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our esteemed team as a Host.
As a Host at Firmdale Hotels, you will be the welcoming face of our renowned restaurant, creating memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they step through our doors. Your ability to effortlessly build rapport and anticipate the needs of our guests will be essential in ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth and efficient seating process while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and preferences, going above and beyond to exceed expectations and create personalised experiences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold Firmdale's high standards of service and presentation at all times, contributing to the overall ambiance and reputation of our establishment.
- Engage guests in friendly and inspiring conversation, sharing your passion for hospitality and our unique offerings.
What You Need
- A keen willingness to collaborate and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable, but not essential, as long as you possess a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to upholding Firmdale's standards of excellence in all aspects of your work.
- A genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
- An infectious positivity and can-do attitude that inspires confidence and trust in our guests and colleagues alike.

Firmdale Hotels was founded in London, in 1985 by husband and wife team, Tim and Kit Kemp. Today, Firmdale has grown to include hotels and private residences across London and New York as well restaurants, bars, spas, an online shop, interior design studio and Laundry facility.
