Location: Forest of Dean (Coleford, Gloucestershire)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours.
Days of Work: Your days of work will vary between Monday and Sunday, on a 3-week rolling rota.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Assistant - Hot Tub to join our lovely team at Forest of Dean.

Work in one of the UK’s most stunning forest locations, developing your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests. Sheltered beneath the protective canopy of ancient oak woodland or situated in the open meadow at the forest edge, our cabins at Forest of Dean offer an escape from everyday life in one of Britain’s most amazing forests.

About the Operations Assistant - Hot Tub Role:

As Operations Assistant, your role is to help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by ensuring our hot tubs and surrounding facilities are consistently maintained to a high standard. You will play an important part in supporting smooth daily operations, making sure everything is ready for guests to enjoy a seamless and relaxing experience from the moment they arrive.

Working as part of the wider team, you will help maintain quality and safety standards through regular checks, basic maintenance, and timely reporting of any issues. You will take pride in completing practical tasks efficiently and carefully, contributing to the overall upkeep of the site.

Alongside this, you will support general maintenance work across the location and help deliver an excellent guest experience by upholding Forest Holidays’ standards and values in everything you do.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests
  • Monitoring and recording water quality, and supporting with safe chemical adjustments
  • Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery and decorating (basic knowledge desirable)
  • Carrying out basic equipment checks and minor repairs, and reporting issues promptly
  • Delivering daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service and supporting our Forest Feeling brand standards

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • A full UK Driving License
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

  • 16 years: Ā£8.00 per hour
  • 17 years: Ā£10.85 per hour
