Job Description
As our next Hotel Finance & Talent & Culture Administrator, you…
- Will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of both the Finance and Talent & Culture functions at Mercure London Bankside.
- You will provide administrative support to the Hotel Management Team, Heads of Department and employees, helping to ensure our financial and employee information is accurate, organised and up to date.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working across different areas, has excellent attention to detail and is confident managing confidential information and competing priorities.

- Manage the administration of invoices, including registration, distribution for approval and following up on outstanding items.
- Support daily banking and revenue reconciliation, identifying discrepancies and liaising with relevant departments and Head Office to resolve them.
- Assist with city ledger, balance sheet and other financial reconciliations, as well as the preparation of monthly financial reports and information.
- Maintain accurate and secure financial records and documentation in accordance with Company procedures.
- Support recruitment and onboarding administration, including arranging interviews, preparing new starter documentation and assisting with Right to Work checks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support the administration of starters, leavers, transfers, promotions and contractual changes.
- Provide administrative support for payroll, including checking hours, overtime, allowances, holidays and absence information.
- Assist with HR reporting and the administration of holidays, absences, employee meetings and other Talent & Culture processes.
- Support training, employee engagement activities, internal communications and Hotel events where required.
- Ensure all Finance and Talent & Culture administration is completed accurately, within required timeframes and in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times when handling financial, employee and Hotel information.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and provide an efficient and professional service to colleagues and management.
