General Manager – New Hotel Opening

Location: London
Salary: Highly Competitive Salary & Executive Package

JWR is delighted to be working exclusively on an outstanding opportunity to appoint a General Manager for a major new hotel opening in London.

This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished hotelier to become involved in an exciting new development, taking a leading role through the pre-opening phase, launch and beyond.

The property will be a large, full-service hotel with over 300 bedrooms, extensive Food & Beverage operations and significant meetings, conference and events facilities.

We are looking for a commercially astute, inspirational Hotel General Manager with the leadership presence and operational expertise to build an exceptional team, establish the culture of the hotel and successfully position the property within the highly competitive London market.

The Role

As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the pre-opening and subsequent operation of the hotel, working closely with ownership and key stakeholders throughout the development and mobilisation process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
