We are looking for an experienced and talented Learning and Development Business Partner to join our fantastic team covering our Hotel and Accommodation Division with locations mainly in Edinburgh and St Andrews.

The Role
As a Learning and Development Business Partner, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- To support operational training and coaching to drive service and standards in our Hotel and Accommodation Division
- Scope, design, deliver and evaluate development initiatives that are simple, relevant and transferable, working in collaboration with senior leaders and subject matter experts
- Oversee the induction and onboarding process ensuring that managers are fully trained and competent in the process
- Provide quality assurance for inductions and reviews
- Support the admin of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Deliver on outputs from the People Agenda and Business Review Meetings and act as a source of L & D expertise for the business
- Review and provide reports / MI and participate in other training projects where required
- Manage the coordination and delivery of an effective range of learning, mentoring and coaching at all organisational levels
- Support our employees to plan their careers with insight and understanding through our career pathways, PDPs and internal training programmes
- Facilitate talent management process, in partnership with Operations and support succession planning through the PDP process
- Build external networks to facilitate development opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong hotel operational experience
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and train
- Experience of positively challenging and influencing across all levels of the business
- Proven ability to personally deliver full training cycle (scope/design/deliver/evaluate) and manage quality of output from external contributors
- Ability to translate the complex and make simple
- Strong brand and culture awareness with experience in how to bring that to life for others through learning interventions
- Proven track record of driving employee development, and creating a range of development interventions to support individuals at all levels of the business
- Strong guest service focus
- Strong communication skills
- Strong delivery focus - able to translate strategy and plans into strong outcomes
- Initiative and problem solving skills
