Hotel Manager – Watergate Bay Hotel

We’re looking for an exceptional Hotel Manager to lead us into our next chapter. This is a key operational leadership role, with responsibility for the day to day running of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, commercial performance, and a positive team culture.

Working closely with the Operations Director you’ll lead our hotel management team, ensuring every part of the operation works together to deliver the standards, warmth and personality that make Watergate Bay Hotel distinctive.

We’re more than a hotel. We’re the beach, the ocean, the people, the energy and everything that happens in between.

What we’re looking for

Reporting to our Operations Director, you’ll work closely with our teams across Brand Delivery, Finance, Marketing and Business Development to deliver the strategic direction of the business through excellent operational execution.

You’ll have significant senior leadership experience within a quality hotel operation, with a proven track record across guest experience, multi-department operations, F&B performance and people leadership. You’ll understand hotel P&Ls, productivity, revenue drivers, budgets and commercial performance, but equally understand that exceptional financial results come from exceptional people and guest experiences.

We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality, understands what makes a hotel exceptional and thrives on being present, visible and engaged in the day-to-day operation. You’ll be commercially aware, operationally excellent and, above all, an inspiring leader of people.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
