Sauce Hospitality are a boutique recruitment agency consulting within luxury hospitality and leisure, private members clubs, and independent hotels.
The Company
Hotel Manager for the opening of a Wellness Hotel and Country Club in West Sussex. The Hotel Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and wellness-focused private members’ club, delivering an exceptional experience centred on wellbeing, hospitality, and community. The role will lead guest services, front office, and housekeeping, while working closely with wellness, fitness, spa, and food & beverage teams to create a seamless experience for both hotel guests and members.
Responsibilities include managing budgets and financial performance, driving occupancy, membership engagement and revenue, and supporting sales and member acquisition initiatives. The Hotel Manager will develop and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of genuine care, discretion, and exceptional service.

The role will build strong relationships with members and guests, personally overseeing escalated concerns, and ensuring a highly personalised experience. It will also champion health, safety, and operational standards, while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance the club’s wellness offering, community, and overall guest journey.

Qualifications
- Luxury Hospitality & Wellness Experience: Proven experience in luxury hotels, private members’ clubs, wellness, fitness, or lifestyle environments, with a strong understanding of personalised guest and member experiences.
- Leadership & Operations: Strong leadership and operational management skills, including front-of-house, housekeeping, F&B coordination, team development, health & safety, and service standards.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, costs, and financial performance, with a commercial mindset focused on occupancy, membership growth, retention, partnerships, and revenue.
- Exceptional People & Communication Skills: Highly personable, discreet, and solutions-focused, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for wellness, hospitality, and creating a strong sense of community.
