The Role

Land’s End Hotel is seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our 35-bedroom hotel and associated hospitality businesses at one of the UK’s most iconic destinations.

Reporting to the General Manager of Land's End wider businesses, you will oversee the Hotel, First & Last Inn, self-catering accommodation, weddings and events, bars and restaurants.

The role will focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining high operational standards, developing our people and achieving strong commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day hotel and hospitality operation.
  • Drive revenue, profitability and effective cost control.
  • Maintain high standards across accommodation, food, beverage and customer service.
  • Lead, motivate and develop managers and wider teams.
  • Manage staffing, rotas, budgets and payroll effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, licensing and statutory requirements.
  • Manage accommodation rates, booking systems, OTA relationships and revenue opportunities.
  • Respond professionally to guest feedback and enquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standards and business performance.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and wider Heritage Attractions Group Senior Management Team.

About You

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional with:

  • 3+ years’ experience within a hotel management environment.
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Hotel Manager or similar senior role.
  • Food Safety Level 3 and a Personal Licence.
  • Strong Health & Safety and operational compliance knowledge.
  • Experience with hotel booking systems and revenue management.
  • An understanding of budgets, GP, payroll and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.
  • A professional, proactive and commercially focused approach.
  • Experience with Guestline, Hotel Perfect, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb or other OTA platforms would be advantageous.

The Package

The package available for the successful candidate encompasses

  • Salary of between £45,000 and £47,000 p.a
  • KPI based bonus
