WE’RE HIRING | OPERATIONS MANAGER – THE HICKSTEAD HOTEL
📍 Hickstead, West Sussex | Near Gatwick & Brighton
The Hickstead Hotel is looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our 52-bedroom hotel.
With bedrooms, restaurant & bar, extensive conference and banqueting facilities and a growing weddings and events business, this is an opportunity for an ambitious hotelier to take real ownership of a diverse operation.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is genuinely hands-on and visible on the floor
- Has strong Food & Beverage, weddings and events experience
- Can lead, motivate and develop a hotel team
- Understands labour, purchasing, margins and operational cost control
- Is commercially minded and focused on growing revenue as well as controlling costs
- Sets high standards for guest experience, cleanliness and service
- Can introduce structure, accountability and consistent operating standards
- Is comfortable working in a flat management structure and leading by example
