WE’RE HIRING | HOTEL OPERATIONS MANAGER

📍 UNO Thames Hotel | Maidenhead

UNO Hotels is looking for a hands-on Hotel Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our 37-bedroom waterfront hotel in Maidenhead, featuring two restaurants and bars.

This is not a desk-based management role. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being on the floor, close to the team and close to our guests — someone who leads by example and takes real ownership of the operation.

The person we’re looking for will have:

  • A strong Food & Beverage background
  • Excellent hands-on operational leadership
  • A commercial mindset with a focus on revenue, payroll, and profitability
  • Strong guest service standards
  • The ability to recruit, train, motivate, and develop a team
  • The confidence to identify operational issues and implement improvements quickly
  • A genuine willingness to get involved wherever the business needs them

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
