Are you a commercially driven hotel leader with a passion for exceptional hospitality?
Grovefield House Hotel is seeking an ambitious, hands-on Hotel Operations Manager who combines operational excellence with strong commercial acumen. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands that great hotels are built on outstanding guest experiences, motivated teams, and a relentless focus on driving revenue and profitability.
This is not a traditional office-based management role. We are looking for a visible leader who enjoys being on the floor, inspiring teams, engaging with guests, and actively growing every area of the business.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take ownership of the hotel's day-to-day operation while driving commercial performance across all revenue streams.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences across every department
- Lead and develop a high-performing Food & Beverage operation, increasing covers, average spend, and profitability
- Drive conference, meetings, and events revenue through proactive business development and outstanding delivery
- Maximise wedding sales by converting enquiries, hosting show rounds, and ensuring flawless execution
- Identify new revenue opportunities and implement initiatives to grow occupancy, F&B sales, and ancillary income
- Manage labour costs, payroll, departmental budgets, and productivity
- Recruit, coach, and inspire high-performing teams
- Maintain exceptional standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence
- Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing to deliver commercial objectives

We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Commercially driven and passionate about growing revenue
- A strong operational leader with previous Hotel Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager, or Hotel Manager experience
- Highly experienced in Food & Beverage operations
- Confident in developing conference, meetings, and wedding business
- Financially aware, with a strong understanding of hotel KPIs including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, payroll, and GOP
- Energetic, hands-on, and visible, leading by example every day
- Passionate about people development and delivering exceptional guest experiences
