Arora Group Finance Team - Hotels Process Transformation Analyst

The Arora Group is one of the largest private owner and operator of hotels in the UK, with over 6000 rooms in operation across 12 Global Brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Accor, IHG and Radisson portfolios. Our values revolve around our people, our guests and achievement through ownership which has enabled our exponential growth over the last few years.

As a member of Arora’s Group Finance Team supporting the Hotels division, this experienced Hotels Process Transformation Analyst will play a pivotal role in improving, standardising and transforming finance processes across the hotel portfolio. The role will focus on hotel finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and the interfaces between hotel operations, central finance and senior leadership. The post holder will be expected to work independently, identify areas where processes, controls or ways of working can be improved, challenge existing practices constructively and lead agreed changes through to completion with a broad range of hotel, finance, IT and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Hotels division at Arora, including hotel operating models, finance structures, property-level processes and the interaction between hotel operations and central finance.
  • Understand the nuances between multiple Hotel brands and the requirements or restrictions that each one may place upon Transformation initiatives.
  • Review, document and challenge current hotel finance processes across accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, cash, banking, purchasing, revenue controls, reconciliations and month-end close activities.
  • Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, duplication, bottlenecks and manual workarounds that prevent hotel finance teams from operating consistently, accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop practical improvement proposals that simplify, standardise or re-engineer processes across the Hotels division, balancing operational requirements with finance control, compliance and reporting needs.
  • Partner with Finance IT and hotel system owners to identify opportunities to automate workflows, strengthen system interfaces and reduce manual processing across hotel finance activities.
  • Create clear process documentation, SOPs, workflow diagrams, training materials and control guidance for hotel and central finance teams.
  • Evaluate the benefits, risks, costs and operational impact of proposed process changes, ensuring recommendations are commercially sensible and deliver measurable improvement.
  • Confidently engage with senior leaders, hotel management teams and functional stakeholders, constructively challenging existing practices where processes, controls or ways of working need to change.
  • Project manage multiple improvement initiatives from initial review through to implementation, coordinating timelines, actions, dependencies and communication across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Support change adoption by providing training, guidance and follow-up support to hotel finance teams and wider operational users affected by new processes.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes through process audits, control reviews and performance assessments, ensuring improvements are embedded and sustained.
  • Conduct ad hoc reviews, investigations and deep dives across the Hotels division where process, control or performance concerns arise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
