Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and professional Receptionist, preferably from a Hotel background who understands that the reception desk is often the first and last impression of our business.

- Previous hotel reception experience within a busy hospitality environment.
- Experience using a Hotel Property Management System (PMS), preferably Rezlynx.
- Experience using EPOS systems and processing guest payments.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional grammar, spelling and punctuation, with the ability to produce professional guest correspondence that reflects our premium brand.
- Experience handling reservations, guest enquiries and telephone bookings.
- Confident managing payments, deposits and guest accounts accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently whilst remaining a strong team player.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
