Sales Executive - Hotel Corporate Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive specializing in Hotel Corporate Sales to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with corporate clients Novotel Newcastle Airport, driving revenue growth through strategic B2B sales initiatives, and representing our hotel brand as a trusted partner in the corporate travel market. Your proactive approach and exceptional communication skills will be key to securing new business opportunities and maintaining long-term client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales efforts in a fast-paced hospitality environment, delivering memorable experiences for our corporate guests while achieving business objectives.

The Hotels

Novotel Newcastle is a 126 bedroom hotel with meeting space situated in the Kingston Park area. The hotel was fully refurbished in 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract and retain corporate clients, focusing on B2B sales channels.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry events to expand our corporate client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within organizations, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and negotiations to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze sales performance data for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with corporate audiences.
  • Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and service agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the hospitality or related industries, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent analysis skills to interpret market trends, customer data, and sales metrics for strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively articulate value propositions and negotiate deals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for building long-term client partnerships that drive mutual growth.
