Hotel Services Manager

The Role
Support the delivery of Hotel Services objectives by working with operational teams to maintain excellent hospitality, housekeeping, dining, laundry, and waste management standards across Care UK homes. The role contributes to the development and implementation of the Care UK Food Framework and Dining with Dignity strategy, enhancing residents' mealtime experiences, nutrition, and hydration. Extensive regional travel, including occasional overnight stays, is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Hotel Services standards and strategy across assigned homes.
- Support homes in delivering high-quality dining experiences in line with the Dining with Dignity Framework.
- Ensure menus meet residents' nutritional, dietary, cultural, religious, allergen, and texture-modified requirements.
- Conduct regular kitchen and housekeeping audits and support continuous improvement.
- Deliver and coordinate training for catering, housekeeping, and laundry teams.
- Support the recruitment, induction, and development of Head Chefs and Housekeepers.
- Manage the maintenance and replacement of key hotel services equipment.
- Work with suppliers and Procurement to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with purchasing policies.
- Support homes with budget management, menu planning, and stock control.
- Ensure effective laundry and housekeeping procedures are in place and operating efficiently.
What We're Looking For

- Relevant food-related qualification (e.g. HND, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3).
- Experience as a Head Chef within the care, hospitality, or catering sector.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement through innovation and new ideas.
- Ability to travel regularly across the region and nationally, including overnight stays when required.
