Educational Communicator Opportunity in SEND Department
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the SEND department for an Educational Communicator to join our team. This is an hourly paid position based at our Hemel Hempstead Campus.
The team provides a range of support for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities to enable them to access educational opportunities offered by the College.
The successful candidate will have highly effective BSL communication skills with experience of supporting the hearing impaired and working with young people or adults who have learning difficulties or disabilities. To be considered for this role, you will have at least a Level 3 BSL Qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support learners on a one-to-one basis both in and outside of class.
- Work cooperatively with tutors to assist with classroom intervention strategies to meet the needs of the hearing-impaired learner.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and outside authorities.
- Work well as part of a team and have the aptitude to work independently and unsupervised when required.
Job Details:
- Hours: 18 hours per week.
