About the Role
We are looking for an Hourly Paid Learning Support Assistant and Carer to join the Skills for Life team, providing a wide range of programmes for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidate will be helping to support the delivery of outstanding personalised learning opportunities. We want people who can assist learners to experience all aspects of College life.
Responsibilities
- Be flexible, working well as part of a team to support the provision for learners within Skills for Life, as well as those attending through our links with local schools.
- Understand and experience of working with students who have diverse special learning needs.
- Be a qualified and experienced First Aider with the relevant Care training and qualifications.
- Work with a range of students, requiring a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a proactive professional who can work with the teaching team to remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process.

Location
You will be based at Barnfield College, Luton.
