Position Summary
The Research Analyst will conduct experiments on contamination in soils and water for projects led by the CNR and assist the Director of the CNR in the implementation
Essential Functions
- Conduct experiments on contamination in soils and water.
- Laboratory and field investigations into the analysis of emerging pollutants in water and sediment, as well as their interaction with associated contaminants.
- Provide weekly progress reports to Dr. Boufadel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by the Center Director.
Pre-Requisite Qualifications
The qualified candidate would have a bachelors in Environmental, Civil Engineering or a related field.
Compensation
The compensation is competitive and ranges from $16-$30
At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, or other items.
