Hours: (Evening Shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm)

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team at Fulwood Hall Hospital on a permanent evening shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene is essential to the care we provide, and you will play a key role in ensuring our patients, staff and visitors benefit from a safe, clean and welcoming environment. This is a busy and varied role involving the cleaning of all hospital areas, including patient wards, theatre departments, clinical areas, offices, public spaces and staff facilities.
Working as part of the Hotel Services team, you will follow strict infection prevention and control procedures and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care through outstanding housekeeping standards. Full training will be provided, including infection prevention and control, cleaning methodologies and the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

- Previous housekeeping or healthcare cleaning experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain wards, theatres, clinical departments, outpatient areas and public spaces to the highest standards.
- Carry out scheduled cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Ensure all cleaning records and documentation are completed accurately.
- Follow infection prevention and control policies at all times.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with COSHH requirements.
- Respond promptly to urgent and ad hoc cleaning requests.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning consumables within allocated areas.
- Deliver a professional and courteous service to patients, visitors and colleagues.
