Established in 2013, Weybourne is the Family Office for a High Net Worth family. Weybourne manages investments and provides financial and other professional support to the Family, their estates, and business interests.
Job Purpose:
An amazing opportunity has become available for an experienced housekeeper to join a large private Estate in the Bath and North Somerset area on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). We are looking for someone capable, reliable, and discrete to take up this opportunity.
Working alongside our other housekeepers, the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning a range of areas across the Estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure you comply with all relevant Estate Health and Safety and Environment (HSE) practices and procedures, as outlined in the Health and Safety Policy
- Work with the Health & Safety Manager/Health & Safety Consultants, within remit of role
- Ensure accidents, near misses, and observations are reported, as needed
- Maintain Estate Values; ensure that you understand, always embrace, and keep focus on the principles and priorities of the Estate, ensuring that your team is meeting these same standards
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the Estate
- Ensure you abide by all Estate's policies and procedures; if you see colleagues who are not doing this, report appropriately
- Committed to continuous development of skills and knowledge, undergoing necessary training
- General cleaning duties to include (but not exclusively) dusting, window and mirror cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, emptying/washing bins, cleaning of toilets/urinals/showers
- Periodic deep cleans of the kitchens, waxing of the floors and surfaces.
- Maintain high standards across the Estate - taking initiative to resolve and/or report areas that do not meet required standards or any issues that arise
- Ability to provide cover to team absences
- Any other reasonable ad hoc duties that may arise

Person specification / Core Competencies:
- Able to use own initiative to a set routine and on areas as directed
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, or similar position (involving some of the tasks listed above) is essential
- Have a high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional manner with confident communication skills
- Proactive and flexible approach to work
- Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
- Strong sense of discretion, appreciating the confidentiality of the work
- Keen to suggest improvements to ways of working & willingness to embrace new working practices
- Ability to work autonomously whilst possessing strong teamwork skills
- Valid UK driving license
- Must be willing to undergo Enhanced DBS check
- Eligibility to work in the UK
