Role Description
This is a flexible, on-site Housekeeper role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Housekeeper will perform day-to-day cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, and maintaining overall cleanliness in residential, short-let, and commercial properties. Responsibilities include changing bed linens, handling laundry, replenishing supplies, and preparing short-let accommodations for guest arrivals and departures. The role involves following company standards and checklists, reporting any maintenance issues, and ensuring health and safety guidelines are met on each site. The Housekeeper will also interact with clients and team members in a professional manner, aligning with Strides Housekeeping Services’ commitment to quality and reliability.

- Ability to manage Laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact respectfully with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Good organisation skills to follow cleaning schedules, maintain checklists, and manage time across multiple properties.
- Capacity to participate in and support Training, including learning new cleaning methods, products, and safety procedures.
- Previous professional housekeeping or cleaning experience in residential, short-let, or commercial environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and equipment, and understanding of basic health and safety practices.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to travel within the London area and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
